As an 𝒂𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓, this conclave was more than just an event, it was a masterclass in governance, leadership, and accountability. Meeting some of the most accomplished Indian directors and exchanging perspectives was both inspiring and transformative.

➡️From honorary critic to steward of accountability – Independent directors must move beyond symbolic roles to become active guardians of corporate integrity and stakeholder trust
➡️ Dissent is strength, not discord – Constructive challenge and respectful debate are essential for strong and effective boards➡️ Diversity fuels sharper oversight – Varied backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences lead to richer discussions and better decisions➡️ Governance must be real-time and proactive – Leveraging technology and data for timely insights can help boards detect and address issues before they escalate
